About the Nursery

We are a small, women-owned, native plant nursery based in the Bartlett area of Memphis, Tennessee striving to make locally grown, native plants available to landscapers, nurseries, and our community to encourage greater and collaborative efforts to restore wildlife and ecosystem resources.
As we are a small crew and balance our time between the nursery and the services we provide, the nursery is not open to the retail public for browsing.
Landscapers or those placing large orders can schedule an appt.

About Our Plants:
- MOST of our inventory has been GROWN from SEED
- We use local ecotype seeds whenever possible.
- Those not grown from seed or propagated on-site have been rescued from areas that are being developed, or re-homed from those who have removed or thinned their native plantings.
- Garden Coaching clients get "first pick" of plant inventory AND a discount on plant pricing.
A Note on Weeds:
- We do not want to be the one responsible for spreading any unwanted species and we take WEEDS and INVASIVE SPECIES VERY SERIOUSLY!
- All plants grown from seed or propagated on-site are kept enclosed/covered with shade cloth or mesh to protect our plants from pesky, stow-away weed seeds.
- However, some greenhouse neighbors may have dropped (or slung) a seed or two into another pot, but free plant right?
Plant-It-Forward Program: Under Development*
For wild-area-wanders and seed collectors, if you collect and bring us local-ecotype seeds, we will happily swap you plants, seeds, or credits toward future plant purchases.
And as we know some native plants can be more assertive than others…If you have natives that need some serious thinning, we will happily re-home them for community and restoration projects, depending on the species, of course…we will happily swap you seeds, plants, or credits toward future plant purchases.
If you have a school or community garden for which you are looking for plant material or seeds, please email us.
